Daikin Products

Daikin was founded in Osaka, Japan in 1924 and has been innovating the gas and fluorocarbon industry for the last 90 + years. Daikin moved into the residential air conditioning market in the early 1950s and was set to become a global leader in reverse cycle systems.

Daikin air conditioner systems are sold in nearly every country in the world and have effectively been pushing the boundaries with how Daikin can make the best air anywhere.

In the 1970s Daikin developed the worlds first multi-split system air conditioning unit with the capacity to have multiple heads running from a singular outdoor condenser unit.

Throughout the late 1950s Daikin began to dominate the air conditioning industry across the globe by participating in an array of standardization practices for air conditioning and gasses used.

In 1977, Daikin built the first mass-producing R-32 gas plant in the Yodogawa province of Japan.
 

"Urusara 7," featuring the world's first adoption of the next generation refrigerant R-32 in a residential air conditioner, is marketed worldwide.
