Daikin Split Systems FAQ

  • What is the most energy efficient Daikin split system?

The most energy-efficient reverse cycle split system on the market is the Daikin US7 series.

This is the worlds first 7-star rating split system with full humidification, dehumidification, fresh outside air cycling options as well as a self-cleaning function built into the air conditioning system.

  • What is the difference between Daikin LITE and Daikin Alira systems?

Daikin Lite split systems are Daikins entry-level air conditioning package. Packed with features, it is a great unit to be installed in bedrooms and living areas.

However, the Daikin Alira system offers slightly more functionality with its controller, allowing you to set a weekly system schedule as opposed to the Lite's single day timer functionality.

The Daikin Alira system is more energy-efficient than Daikin Lite systems as well saving you money in the long run.

  • A Daikin ducted system wont work for my house. Is there anything else you can offer us?

Daikin Ducted systems are a terrific form or reverse cycle air conditioning. However, not all customer houses are suitable or equipped with the necessary provisions to make these suitable for your needs.

Our Daikin Multi-Head systems are another great alternative to a ducted solution as these provide a whole-house solution with each individual indoor head being able to be operated independently of all the other systems.

You can have up to four indoor units installed off the one outdoor unit. This is a great way to free up the service areas around your house by having one unit, to service them all.
